The Rider Social is hosting a splitboard test week in 2015 for the guy’s at The Sick And The Wrong. Since 1993 they have been offering great advice and products and are probably the UK’s biggest retailers of splitboards. They stock brands including Never Summer, Karakoram, Venture, Unity, Spark and Voile among many others.
On the week 14 – 21st March 2015 they will be based at The Rider Social HQ in Chatel and will have demo kit for the aforementioned brands available to use. The week will consist of a few days riding solid boards and the rest of the time using the splitboards to access bigger backcountry lines. Guiding will be provided by The Rider Social and the end of the week culminates in a trip to a mountain refuge overlooking Samoens. After an overnight stop at the refuge we will set off to ride one of the incredible descents in the area. Leading us will be Paulo Verdier, one of our UIAGM high mountain guides.
Included in the £995 per person price is: catered chalet accommodation, full guiding on 5 days, use of all splitboarding equipment, airport transfers and a night at the refuge.
